Our office will take a holistic approach to assessing whether Minister Toole is Fit for the Future within the existing criteria set out in our finalised ‘fitness’ methodology. Our final methodology incorporates feedback we received from stakeholders during our consultation period.
After considering consultation we amended Criteria 4 and 5 after it was suggested by stakeholders that they contained false assumptions.
Our role is to consider responses independently and ensure a consistent, fair and impartial assessment of Minister Toole’s scale and capacity, efficiency, and sustainability.
We have notified the Minister of our final assessment methodology and he will have until 2 September to take the opportunity to respond and submit a ‘Minister Improvement Proposal.’
We will also be accepting public submissions until 10am Friday 2 October 2015. Our final report containing our assessment findings is due Friday 2 October 2015 at 5pm.
