This year the APAN – Australia Palestine Advocacy Network hosted a Greens study tour to Palestine and Israel, with Greens from NSW and Victoria including Senator Janet Rice, Greens MP David Shoebridge, Waverley Councillor Dominic WY Kanak and Greens member and activist Anne Picot.

The experience was challenging and confronting, so it is important to report back on what we witnessed. Palestine is a beautiful country, their people need more international visitors and desperately need more international solidarity.

On Friday 16 June you’re invited to hear back from Anne, Dominic and David about their trip, what they learnt and to discuss where to from here.

We’re also fortunate to have Greens Senator Lee Rhiannon, Jessica Morrison from the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network and Sylvia Hale, our former Greens MP, and member of the Coalition for Justice and Peace in Palestine – Sydney attending and contributing to the discussion.
